During my time at Foot Solutions, our creative budget was extremely limited, so I took a hands-on approach by shooting and editing my own content in-store. I developed Instagram and Facebook Reels that were used across both organic and paid Meta channels, focusing on a mix of educational storytelling and trend-driven content. This reel, for example, highlighted the benefits of custom orthotics in an engaging and relatable way to drive awareness and in-store traffic.

This post promoted our Summer Sandal Giveaway, encouraging followers to like the post and follow our account for a chance to win. Since our Instagram was a newer channel and our audience skewed heavily toward Facebook, this campaign was designed to drive awareness and grow our Instagram presence during our slower summer months. I coordinated the giveaway across social media and email, using cohesive creative and messaging to maximize reach. The campaign resulted in over 300 new Instagram followers.

This post spotlighted Ballard Designs’ holiday video campaign featuring designer Nellie Howard Ossi. The goal was to drive traffic to our YouTube series, which shared holiday decorating tips and styling inspiration. This cross-channel approach created a unified and engaging holiday storytelling experience for our audience.

This Instagram Reel promoted Foot Solutions’ annual Black Friday Sale, offering up to 60% off select styles. With limited resources and no new creative budget, I repurposed existing b roll footage from a previous marketing shoot to produce fresh, on brand video content that highlighted the featured shoes on sale. The reel performed double duty, used both organically on social media and in paid social ads to drive awareness and conversions during one of our biggest retail moments of the year.

Grew Ballard Designs’ social engagement by pairing editorial storytelling with seasonal lifestyle imagery, helping drive awareness for key campaigns like the How to Decorate Podcast and holiday video collaborations.

For Fun
Outside of work, I manage Instagram and TikTok accounts for my two Wheaten Terriers, Charlie and Poppy. It’s a passion project that blends my love for my dogs with social media marketing and keeps me plugged into emerging trends and content styles.
